Huehuetenango isn’t just fun to say, it’s a unique Latin American location with rich Mayan history. This Guatemalan coffee is sourced direct-trade from an indigenous Mayan coffee farmer, who cultivates in the Sierra de Los Cuchumatanes mountains at 2,000 meters above sea level. He then wet processes in the remote area of Rio Ocho, resulting in a truly exceptional coffee with fruity flavors and less acidic characteristics. We roast this special bean in small batches in our home to bring out the pecan, green apple, and cocoa notes.
