Brazil is an incredible country with a name that likely means “red like an ember.” It is known for its cultural & biological diversity and is the top coffee producer in the world. The bean we roast is a blend from two farms in the Sul de Minas region. Fazenda Mombuca, owned and managed by Gabriel Lelis Junqueira de Paiva, his wife Ana and their children Gabriel, Luiz and Kaic, was inherited in 2007 and has expanded since its inception by focusing on improved processing methods. Fazenda Paraguai, owned by Claudio Vinivius Pimetnel, has been in his family since the 1940’s. They prioritize environmental consciousness by using natural fertilizers and reducing chemical inputs. We purchase this naturally processed bean through direct trade, then roast this it in small batches to bring out the smooth notes of creamy milk chocolate, cashew nuttiness, and a fruity & floral finish.

How Much Coffee Should I Order?

Our whole bean coffees come in 12 oz bags. Brewing methods, cup size, and preference all will affect how far it will go, but a 12 oz bag should be about a two-week supply for 1-2 coffee drinkers. You can always increase, decrease, or pause your subscription if needed.

Keep in mind, you want your coffee to be fresh, so don’t order too many bags at once. It’s best to keep your order spaced out so we can deliver you the freshest and best tasting coffee.
